{family is the best}

this Christmas i have been reflecting on how blessed i am. of the biggest blessings in my life is family. i am beyond blessed to have the most loving and close family. on top of that, my husband's family is truly incredible. i love each and every one of them with all my heart, and am utterly thankful for how they have welcomed me freely and whole-heartedly into their "pack" : }

what a royal treat it's been to get to have hubby's sister and her hubby come from out of town to celebrate the holidays with us. they are expecting their first babe, end of may. we are beyond thrilled to meet the newest addition to our crazy and awesome family. 

this shoot today was wicked fun. i loved how obviously in love this couple is. their energy and passion for each other radiated, as you can clearly see, through these pictures...

i love this sweet family! crazy ~ years and years ago e & t seemed so much older than me when they were in college and i was in high school. : } we were all in the same church high school/college group together. so fun to now have kids together, a couple even near the same age! t has been like another big sister to me. 

i simply could not just choose a few favs to post...! this shoot was just so much fun, and the pictures all make me smile...

if you hate messes as much as i do, you will love this! back cupcakes directly in ice cream cones! simply brilliant! slap a little cream cheese frosting on top, and sprinkle a few pretties, and voila!

i've yet to try coring strawberries like this...but a very close friend of mine just posted on her FB that she tried, and it worked. next time i buy strawberries, i'm buying straws too!

supposedly WD40 takes crayon marks off of walls, computer and TV screens! my twins are just getting into the crayon-drawing-phase; i've tucked this into my memory! : }
